Also Jamel rockt den Förster or as Bela B. put it “Germany’s most important Festival” will not take place in 2020 and therefore it will be the first time in many years that we will not be able to produce the festival film.
During this pandemic we should not forget the threat from right wing politicians, populists and activists. Here is our Festival film of 2019 with Max Herre, Samy Deluxe, Feine Sahne Fischfilet and many more.

Sadly Rock am Ring will be cancelled this year because of the pandemic.
We are even more sentimental about this as we looked deep into the archives to produce history videos
for all the 35 years’s of Germany’s biggest festival’s rich past. See you next year, Rock am Ring!

Martin helped filming Stephan Lamby’s music documentary about the two brothers Joachim und Rolf Kühn
and we are very happy that the great film was nominated for the Grimme Award.

Julia Hülsmann – ECM

Jazz artist Julia Hülsmann has a new album out on legendary ECM Records. It’s called „Not far from here“
and we where invited to film live sessions and an EPK of her quartet’s beautiful music.

and it was very interesting to work on a short film that presents the project to the world.

Last year Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg funded us for developing a concept portraying Berlin’s music club „Yorckschlösschen“
and all the associated musicians that have played there. We went a step further and produced a pilot for the series. Stay tuned to see where it goes from here!

Rock am Ring Trailer

Next year Rock am Ring will celebrate it’s 35th anniversary. We have accompanied both the 25th
and the 30th anniversaries with documentary films and all kinds of videos.
So it’s a great continuity to get into the celebration mood again and to produce the official Rock am Ring 2020 trailer.

Nominations for Grimme Preis and Deutscher Fernsehpreis

Martin is part of the team that has been nominated for both Deutscher Fernsehpreis and Grimme Preis 2019 for the documentary series „Employable Me“, a BBC format that Tower Productions adapted for german television. So it’s not a Neue Stereo Filmproduktion, but that does’t make us less happy about it.
